Name: Beckham "Beck" Hendricks
Age: 25
Height: 5' 10"
Hair Color: Brown
Eye Color: Brown
Description: Beck is as negative as Chip is Positive. A good way to describe him is hot headed. His temper is quick and he complains about everything. He's a bit rough around the edges being an ex-thief but overall he's a good guy. He has a good heart and his newly earned desire to do the right thing overrules his desire to thieve. He easily gets into fights and is not afraid to pound someone if they insult him or someone that he respects. After joining New Heart something happened to him that gave him this disease. Because of this he has to inject himself with medicine/blood (haven't quite decided yet) every few hours. This is the reason for the many watches he wears on each arm. The watches are actually injectors for his disease. He puts the medicine stuff in a compartment under the face of the watch. When he presses in the knob usually used to set the time on the watch it injects the needle into his vein. It became second nature to him after a while and though he doesn't really mind that much he complains about it when he has nothing else to complain about. He is very good friends with Chip and his negativeness is usually what often annoys Chip just like Chips optomism drives Beck up the wall.
Backround: Beck's father walked out on his family when he was very young. This absence of his father and the belief that his mother didn't love him led him into doing extreme things either for attention or just to get his anger out. He fought and he cheated in school and his mother didn't know how to stop him so she reprimanded him the only way she knew how by constantly yelling and threatening. It wasn't really her fault, she was just desperate but her reactions only drove Beck further and further away. Finally one day after a huge fight when Beck was around 19 he ran out of the house ignored his mother as she yelled after him, got in the car and drove. He lived on his own for a short while before a girl named Veronica came into his life. She called herself Ronnie and Beck met her when she held a gun to his head and tried to mug him. Beck got to talking to her instead and she lowered the gun. The two small time thieves began pulling heists together. Beck finally had the love that he had dreamed about all his life. Later the two of them met a kid named Steven. He was 17 and still in high school. He had a bad stutter and Beck met him when they were both sneaking things into their pockets at a gas station. Steven joined Beck and Ronnie's group. Though Ronnie did love Beck she felt constricted by him. Beck's commanding personality was a bit too much for her and soon she couldn't take it anymore so she pulled a heist to big for her to handle. When it fell through like she hoped it would she didn't try to escape she just let the cops come pick her up. Beck went to visit her when he found out but she told him to get away. Beck went into a short state of madness and he stole car, and some cash, then found Steven. The cops were close behind but Beck refused to stop. Steven did not want to be apart of it and demanded for Beck to let him out. So Beck only slowing a little shoved him out of the moving car. Eventually when Beck crashed and the steering wheel he hit his head on knocked him ouit he was picked up by the police. Steven identified him and he was on his way to prison when New Heart showed up. He had the options between prison and joining New Heart, so he took New Heart.
